GMs do stuff that I don't understand, like hire Peter Budaj to be the backup goaltender in Montreal. Montreal! Did we not see enough of this guy in Colorado? Speaking of which. Yeah, I guess they're being fiscally responsible but it would have healed some of the hurt in me if'n they had signed Vokoun instead of Varlamov. I have a bad feeling about that guy. They could have "rebuilt" (whatever) with a near elite goalie.
